Our family of four had an amazing trip to Japan! Thank you Mitzy for planning our itinerary and making all the reservations for the transportation, hotels, special dinners, tour guides and drivers. We all enjoyed every minute of our time in Japan. When we arrived at our first hotel in Tokyo, the subway passes and bullet train tickets were there. All the hotels had great breakfasts and the locations were also convenient. We loved the experience of staying at a ryokan with the private onsen -- a beautiful and relaxing setting. All the tour guides and drivers were excellent -- very knowledgeable on the local history, restaurants, shopping, etc. They were so gracious and took very good care of us. They also made sure that we found a good lunch spot, and always delivered us safely to our final destination for the day at the hotel/restaurant. The special dinners that Mitzy arranged for us were enjoyable and delicious. We enjoyed trying all the different local specialties. Our trip was beyond our expectations. We would highly recommend Mitzy and IACE to anyone interested in taking a trip to Japan.

We had an amazing experience with IACE and our agent, Kino. We had a list of locations in Japan we wanted to see that aren't usually featured in prearranged tour packages, so we opted for the custom vacation package. Kino greatly exceeded our expectations with the planning, from transportation to accommodations, making sure to keep our budget in mind. We never ran into any issues moving from city to city or checking into each hotel. Kino even helped us make reservations while the trip was underway. I highly recommend IACE for anyone looking for a stress-free travel experience! Thank you very much.

Akiko helped us put together an amazing trip that covered all the cities and places we were hoping to visit for our students and with only a few months to plan. After a previous failed attempt at working with a different travel agency, Akiko and IACE Travel worked quickly, diligently and efficiently to design an itinerary that balanced cultural experience with education. Our students had many unique opportunities to travel around Japan and visit culturally significant places - like Shirakawago, a UNESCO World Heritage site - while incorporating fun and local like activities, like shopping, eating at various restaurants, and exploring some of the cities on their own. Our tour guides in Tokyo and Kyoto were very adept at engaging with our high school students, and our students enjoyed and learned a lot in our times with them. It was also so helpful that all of our needs - from transportation to our friendly, accommodating tour guides - were anticipated, included and provided for. Akiko was always available to communicate with us and provide support, answering questions while we were in Japan, including emergency support when one of our students fell ill during our trip. She responded with care and knowledge of traveling with students, while managing the chaos that comes with planning a trip of this magnitude in such a short amount of time (there's a reason why school trips are supposed to be planned a year in advance!). I would not hesitate to recommend Akiko and IACE Travel for any and all groups wanting to travel to Japan. We look forward to working with them again, in the future!

What I liked about our trip was that it was a nice mix of old and new Japan. I’m glad we didn’t go to Tokyo but got to see feudal Japan, touristy Japan, and trendy Japan. IACE did a good job arranging our transportation and accommodations. The only hotel I didn’t like was the Kansai Stargate. I disagree that our guide Yuki in Takashima didn’t speak good English. I thought all the guides and drivers were good.
